Boundaries
More info
Setting boundaries can feel awkward — especially with people you care about. Boundaries aren´t mean; they are how you take care of yourself and keep relationships healthy.
Detailed info
Start simple: choose one situation and one sentence you can say kindly.
1. Notice what feels off:
“I feel anxious when my friend reads my texts but doesn’t reply.”
2. Name what you need:
“I need friends to respond when they can, even if it’s just a quick message.”
3. Ask clearly and kindly:
“I feel ignored when you leave my texts on read. Could you send a quick reply—even ‘I’ll message you later’ or an emoji?”
4. Hold the boundary (calmly) if there’s pushback:
“This helps me feel respected. If it’s hard right now, I’ll text less and we can talk when we’re both ready.”
