Comparing – try it against yourself!

More info

Instead of comparing yourself to others, compare you to you. Self-comparison can motivate you and help you celebrate how far you’ve come. It’s empowering to see progress when you measure against your own starting point.

Detailed info

Begin by looking back at yourself ( a month ago 6 months ago, a year ago – it’s your choice). Think about what you have learned since that time, what you have experienced, achieved and what opportunities you have had. Then you can face the future – in one month, 6 months, one year, where do you hope to be? Having done what? Experienced what? Learning what? Make a few notes for yourself and set a date in your calendar to come back to your note for a quick self-comparison!
