Who decides who I am?
More info
There are moments when it feels like others have already decided who we should be based on our gender: how we dress, what sports we do, which dreams we chase. This can make us feel trapped in roles we never truly chose.
Detailed info
For one week, every evening, write down a situation in which someone (friends, family, teachers, media) made a comment or gesture related to your gender. For example: “a girl shouldn’t act like that” or “a boy has to be strong.”
Then ask yourself:
Does this really represent me?
If I could decide on my own, would I choose the same thing?
What would change if I were free from that expectation?
At the end of the week, reread all the episodes and try to choose at least one label to reject and one trait you feel is truly yours and want to value more.
